The Role

You are part of a technology products and services division, that creates market differentiation through deployment of resilient, innovative technology and contemporary methods, at scale.
The purpose and unique contribution of your role is to analyse proposed solutions, and to plan, manage, execute and report on testing activities to assure the quality of the solutions being built in accordance with overall guidance and direction. To perform this role, you will work closely with Analysts and Developers, as well as other members of the platform and project teams, such as Environment Management and Release Management.
For your role to make a difference, you will have a systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving and a strong ability to understand the Quality risks to complex solutions

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with analysts, developers and other testers in delivering high quality changes.
Participate in and execute on inceptions, estimates and analysis.
Plan and execute automated and manual tests to validate the systems, build up regression test suites, and validate business process flows.
Communicate and report on testing activities to internal stakeholders.
Support the creation of test assets for the team - automated test suites, documented end to end business test flows, guides and instructions, etc.
Participate in review activities such as peer review of tests, reviewing requirements, shoulder-checks for code, developer walkthroughs etc.
Executing testing activities in accordance with the organisation’s agreed standards, methods and procedures.
Support the continuous improvement of work practices and the quality of the systems.

Skills & Experience

3+ Years’ experience in testing and test automation.
Experience in the Insurance industry.
Documenting test processes and how-to guides.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment with good communication skills for demos, etc.
Experience with Automation tools such as Selenium would be a benefit.
