Receptionist/business Admininistration Trainee

IE

Richmond, VIC

Posted 1/14/2021

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a rockstar all-rounder to help manage our office and run our reception desk. No weekend work - Monday to Friday office hours.

About the Role

Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a rockstar all-rounder to help manage our office and run our reception desk.

You will be completing a Certificate III in Business whilst working full-time. We are happy for you to study within your working hours, and we operate Monday to Friday. You may be working between our office in Richmond and home. This is a 12 month traineeship and we hope to be able to offer you a permanent role at the end of your qualification so we are looking for someone who sees this as their career.

Your day may include:-

  • Making visitors feel welcome when they attend reception. They could be clients, new team members, couriers or people attending job interviews.
  • Manning the phones. Redirecting calls, taking messages or taking calls from cold callers.
  • Liaising with couriers. Arranging deliveries and post.
  • Helping the office run smoothly at all times. You will be ordering and replenishing stationery, unpacking and allocating office supplies, liaising with our cleaners and organising repairs.
  • Helping to set up events at our office, such as MeetUps, workshops, and training sessions.
  • You will have OH&S front of mind at all times, and take responsibility for compliance to legislation, such as fire drills and making sure the office is a COVID safe environment.

About you

People describe you as professional, mature, friendly, reliable and have a great work ethic. You don’t need any previous corporate experience as we will train you to set you up for success.

You are great at thinking on your feet and trying to keep one step ahead to keep the office running smoothly. You may have to arrange Plumbers to attend to blocked toilets or Electricians to fix lights. Whatever issues may arise, you’re on the case!

You see this opportunity as a career move, not a stepping stone. We offer awesome opportunities for growth and development within your role to keep you engaged and happy. School leavers are encouraged to apply.
