The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is running an information session for people with disability, family members and carers to help them understand NDIS processes. The session is for people who currently receive funding under the Futures for Young Adults program and/or an Individual Support Package. In the session we will:
provide an overview of the NDIS and explain how the NDIS works
describe the pathway into the NDIS and the rollout in the Hume and Moreland areas
provide an opportunity for you to ask questions and have them answered by experienced staff.
The session will be delivered in partnership with the Brotherhood of St Laurence and Department of Health and Human Services. NDIS acknowledges the support of Uniting (Wesley Mission Victoria) to host these information sessions for the Pathways to Employment program participants and their families/carers.
